General Questions
When will I know the results of my exam?
Our radiologists will ensure a prompt interpretation of your exam, with results communicated to your doctor as fast as necessary to ensure proper care and/or treatment. Our goal is to issue a written report to your doctor within 24 hours. Your doctor will then contact you with the results.
Can I get my results directly from Sutter Buttes Imaging personnel?
Technologists or other staff members are not trained to read radiology exams and therefore cannot give out any results. Once your exam has been dictated, transcribed and given to your referring physician, you may request a copy of your report from our facility. You will need to sign a medical release when placing your request.
Can I get a copy of my images and my report?
Yes, but please allow us 24 hours to complete your request. We can provide you with a copy of the final radiologist report and a CD that has your images on it. If you have any questions please contact our Medical Records Department at (530) 674-9000
